It is the trekking plan which will guide the trekker safely through the elevation and to an all-round full exploitation of the features.
Day 1-2: Kathmandu to Lukla & Phakding
The trip begins with a hotel pickup to the trekking briefing and onwards to Lukla with a flight.It is a fun and exciting short mountain flight to see the great Himalayas. On arrival greet your guide/porter and walk for some 3 hours to the village of Phakding (2610m). The path along Dudh Koshi River and passes through suspension bridges.
Day 3-4: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization
The trail then goes through forests and small villages, eventually leading to the main Sherpa town in the Everest region, Namche Bazaar (3,440m). There are bakeries, trekking stores, cafes, and markets here in Namche. Day 4: trek to Everest View Hotel (3880m), acclimatize and view Ama Dablam and Everest.
Day 5-7: Tengboche to Dingboche
It then moves on to rhododendron forests and finally reaches the Tengboche Monastery (3860m); one of the most popular monasteries in Nepal. Upon arriving at Tengboche the trail slopes up toward Dingboche (4,410 m), where stone walls, open valleys, and yaks can be observed grazing on the fields. An acclimatisation hike to Nangkar Tshang provides a panorama of the wide mountains.
Day 8-9: Lobuche to EBC & Kala Patthar
As you approach Lobuche (4,940m) the track becomes more challenging. The following day, you trek to Gorak Shep (5164m) and onwards to Everest Base Camp (5364m). gigantic glaciers, icefalls and expedition tents are a wonderful experience. Later, you hike up to Kala Patthar (5545m) for one of the best views of the sunset at the foot of the Everest.
Day 10-11: Return to Lukla & Kathmandu
The journey back to Lukla is through Pheriche, Namche and Phakding. Then you return to Kathmandu with a lot of fun and enjoy a free evening in Kathmandu's Thamel.

Difficulty Level
This walk is on a moderate level. You'll be on 5-7 hours of walks each day and the terrain will be mostly uphill. There is no need to have any climbing skill, however fitness is beneficial. Guides keep an eye on trekkers and set their pace to minimize the risks of altitude sickness.
