The Everest Base Camp Trek is a renowned and exhilarating journey into the heart of the Himalayas, offering a mesmerizing blend of breathtaking landscapes, Sherpa culture, Buddhist traditions, and the rich biodiversity of the Sagarmatha National Park. This trek, leading to the base of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, stands as one of the finest trekking experiences globally.

The adventure unfolds with spectacular views of iconic Himalayan peaks like Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Mera, enhancing the trek's allure. Namche Bazaar, a key stop on the route, provides a closer and clearer glimpse of the Himalayan range, especially after a trek to Everest View Hotel and interactions with the local Sherpa community. This segment of the journey offers valuable insights into the Sherpa culture and way of life.

As the trail ascends to higher elevations, acclimatization becomes crucial to combat altitude sickness. The trek showcases Himalayan fauna, including the elusive Thar, and presents adventurous opportunities to traverse glaciers. Upon reaching Gorakshep, the journey culminates with a hike to Everest Base Camp, offering a close encounter with the iconic peak.

An early morning ascent to Kalapatthar unveils a breathtaking sunrise panorama over the Tibetan Himalayan range, leaving trekkers in awe. The Sagarmatha National Park, enveloping the region, serves as a sanctuary for diverse Himalayan flora and fauna. Musk deer, the national bird Impeyan Pheasants, Red-billed chough, Blood pheasant, and Yellow-billed chough are among the wildlife spotted. The park's vegetation includes Pine, Hemlock, Fir, Juniper, Birch, Rhododendron, and various shrubs.

Lukla Flight Information

At Good Vibe Adventure, we want to keep you informed about potential changes to your Lukla flight. During peak seasons (March-May, September-November), flights to Lukla are often diverted to Ramechhap/Manthali, which is a 5-6 hour drive from Kathmandu due to air traffic. In the off-peak months (January, February, June-August, December), flights operate directly from Kathmandu.

Flight schedules are subject to the airline’s discretion and can be impacted by factors like weather, airport congestion, and other logistical challenges. We recommend adding an extra day or two to your itinerary to accommodate any delays or cancellations, ensuring you don't miss your international flight.

    Great organisation, hospitality, and price!

I just came back from EBC trek and a short trip to Chitwan, both organised by Good Vibe. It was a really great and unforgettable experience!

Among the main advantages I would mention:
    - Great contact with Kisan (organiser) before coming to Nepal and while being in Nepal. He was very responsive and patient with all my questions :)
    - Flexibility in organising the trip, where everything was according to my plans/requests.
    - Amazing hospitality, from a warm welcome on an airport until the lift back to the airport in the end of the trip.
    - Competitive price. I was also given back, with no problems, money for flight tickets from Lukla, which was cancelled (we had to get back from EBC by jeeps which was a great experience on its own!)
    - Last, but surely not least, Kisan provided for our EBC trek a great guide Mekh Gurung together with an amazing Porter. Mekh did a really great job, took care of us and explained local culture and mountains greatly.

If you are planning to hike in Nepal, I truly recommend Good Vibe!

I would probably suggest also to:
    - Take a guide and a porter if you go for a longer trek. It is much safer and helps the local community.
    - If you plan to hike from Lukla, go one way with plane and the other by hiking an additional day and taking a jeep (it is a bit adventurous, but personally I loved it).
    - Extend your hike with additional days, especially if you go high. I had some problems with high altitude sickness, and 1-2 additional days would make the trek much more comfortable.
    - I went for the trek in the beginning of October, and in some days the weather was not perfect, so probably it makes sense to start a trek a bit later, at least in mid October.

Highly recommended when you in Nepal!

Thank you Keshab and team at Good Vibes Adventure! It was a wonderful journey with you, the guides/porter esp Chandra (who helped me hand in hand when i was terribly tired and unable to move!), Kumar, the mighty Maden etc. You guys looked after our group of 20 people with such care and very much attentive.

Definitely knowledgeable and experience with the route etc. 8 days of journey in the mountains and we felt very safe. We slept in a very clean lodge, good food and they ensure we sleep warm (it was -10 at the top) One of the guide, Chandra told me that "Guest is God" when he was getting us ready to eat. Awww...!

We look forward to more hikes and adventure under your direction in the future (we are actually already having a discussion on more adventures in Nepal, next is Everest Base Camp!!)

Sending loves to all of you from Malaysia!

    Experience and knowlegeable guide

We met Keshab on our Everest Base Camp treck in 2010. He was our guide for over two weeks. He looked after us well form the very first day and was always happy to assist us with anything. He was great in motivating us to walk and see more things. Keshab was always happy to reassure me when I was worried about the altitude sickness. After few days of trekking together my worries disappeared as I gained confidence in him as my guide. We have no hesitation recommending him as guide and we are sure you will have a good time exploring the mountains with his company. We will definitely be trekking with him again in the future!
