Our Bardia Jungle Safari is an exciting journey through a protected a national park along the southwest plains of Nepal.

Bardia National Park is 968 (374 sq.mi), and the adjoining Bardia National Park, are together 1518 (586 sq.mi) making them the largest protected area along the plains of Nepal. The region extends from the lowlands, which contain jungles and grasslands, into the Siwalik Hills, which are covered in pine and sal trees. Sal trees are a favorite of the Hindu Deity Vishnu and Buddha was born under one.

Our Bardia Jungle Safari is far from Kathmandu, and therefore receives fewer visitors than Chitwan, which means more of a chance to see some of the planets rarest animals. There are 53 different mammals featured in Bardia National park including tiger, deer, elephant, and the recently introduced greater one-horned rhinoceros. Nearby is Blackbuck Conservation Area 16 (6 sq.mi) established in 2009 to protect the endangered Blackbuck Antelope with a recorded population in the area of over 200.

Our Bardia Jungle Safari takes you through the lush lowland grasslands and jungles using a variety of modes, each providing a different perspective, including a jeep safari, an elephant ride, a canoe ride and moving about on foot with an experienced guide. After exploring the jungles and meadows and looking to see exotic animals, our comfortable lodge provides a serene and relaxing setting tp enjoy the views of the vast plains and surrounding beauty.

As the sunset lights up the sky and the stars begin to come out, you will truly feel free from the worlds cares. A Bardia Jungle Safari is an unforgettable adventure!
