Our One day Kathmandu Cycling Tour is a wonderful trip to explore the rich culture and lifestyle of the people in Kathmandu Valley. The historical sites, ancient temples, shrines, and villages to visit are the major attractions of a day cycling tour. This tour also offers the opportunity to converse with the locals, the best way to know the traditions.
The day starts with a fresh, hearty breakfast to fuel your day. After breakfast, we begin cycling to Chobhar Gorge, located 9km southwest of the Kathmandu Valley. We will learn of the legend about how the valley was created. A short trip to the Adinath temple offers beautiful views of the Kathmandu valley.
The next destination is to Kirtipur, an ancient town located on a ridge 10km southwest of the valley. Each narrow alleyway gives a nice perspective to day to day living in the areas. From traditional houses, old shrines and temples we will see what living in Nepal are all about. Observing traditional lifestyles and sampling local delicacies are high on our priorities in Kirtipur.
