It is based on community tourism, popular as Tamang cultural trek in Nepal. The trekking trail is situated close up to the wonderful Langtang Valley Trekking. The region is populated by the Tibetan origin Tamang groups, who have distinct costumes, food, rituals, festivals, and unique lifestyles, follow Buddhism and depend on traditional agriculture. The trekking trail is panoramic and full of various flora and fauna.

Trekkers will be rewarded with several attractions in this trekking. The natural hot spring at Tatopani provides relaxation from the tiredness and it also cures several skin diseases. The traditional dances as Syabru, Mane, and others at Gatlang and Goljung villages are the real worth of the treks. Trekkers can buy the local products of traditional handicrafts. Their lifestyles are similar to the Tibetans, whose customs and rituals are still untouched and well preserved. The area is surrounded by monasteries, Chhortens, Mane walls, and cattle grazing meadows. Nepal Tamang heritage trek is also a gifted trip of several flora and fauna.

The wildlife includes leopards, bears, red panda and musk deer and the flora includes rhododendron, pine forest, lush vegetations, and seasonable flowers. In the spring, the trekking becomes really enchanting with the blooming of rhododendron and other wildflowers. The Himalayan views of Langtang range, Ganesh Himal and Tibetan Himalayas, which have served as the borderlines, are exciting and dramatic.

Tamang Heritage trekking begins from sayabrubesi after a scenic drive from Kathmandu. Then it heads towards Tatopani, Thuman, Timure, Rasuwagadhi, Briddim and ends in Syabrubesi. Then the trekking can be extended with the Langtang valley or drive back to Kathmandu. The trip is loaded with warm hospitality of Tamang people, innocent and virtual greetings along with natural sceneries. Trekkers can have different experiences as homestay and cultural performances of the local people. Please, contact us for the detailed information of the Tamang Heritage trekking package.

Very kind and thoughtful guide and porter!

We went to Nepal without a plan. We knew we had to choose one out of so many choices for the hiking trails. Good thing happened in the airport; We met Kisan, who is the managing director of the company. He explained to us and gave us a good offer. He made our trip easier and convenient. He arranged a driver to bring us to the places we want in Kathmandu and the driver knows really good place for Momo (the best one we ever had!!) Kisan also invited us to have authentic Nepalese dinner on our last day to ensure a good exposure on Nepalese food and culture.

Ram and Sauruz were our guide and porter. They were awesome, really thoughtful and kind to us, especially when i fell sick from the start of the hike. Ram made sure that i had hot drink while i hiked as i caught really bad flu, ensure that we had thick blanket at all tea houses, that we would not be sleeping in cold. Both of them will always ensure that our meals were served fast and satisfied with it. They went out of their way to give us a comfortable hike.

Perhaps just one thing to improve is the recommended hike is too short for us as we both love mountains and love to take photos. We would prefer longer time to spend on the hike and going slow than rushing the whole trek in 8 days.

It would be perfect if we were told in details about the itinerary of the hike to make an informed decision on how long we would want for the hike. We were told that we would only hike 4-5hours/day if we complete in 8 days. We understand that it varies according to individual speed. However, It would be more comfortable if the length of trek is recommended after a good assessment of what we wished to see/do/our speed preference during the trek. We were given a choice of 8-9 days despite that we have 14 days in total. So, I would not recommend 8 days for people who can afford, has longer time to travel and would love to enjoy the culture of different villages.

Trekking the Langtang With Good Vibes

I was completely in the dark when it came to trekking. Being my first time, I found it quite a hard decision which company to choose. Good Vibe Adventure completely set my mind at ease! I was rightly recommended Keshab and his team from a friend. As soon as I called him, he came to pick me up, helped me decide what I would need to hire/buy and personally showed me the best spots to get the gear as I was in quite a hurry. The whole team really made me feel very comfortable, and the good vibe feeling was right away present. My guide Durga and I hit it off right away. He was very knowledgeable about the layout of the lands, and made everything extremely comfortable for my first time.

I would use these services again, and suggest to anyone trekking GVA hands down!
