About Good Vibe Adventure

My family of 3 are very happy that we chose Good vibe, the owner kisan was very responsive to all our needs and he even treat us for lunch . That was an extra mile on top of the well organized trips he arranged for us. We availed of the city tour of Kāthmāndu and Bhaktapur and pick up and drop off to our beautiful hotel in Nagarkot but the real highlight of our trip was the Helicopter ride to Everest base Camp,though we had some issues with the tour as it was cut short by one of the passengers who had an early flight to the UK. Kisan was kind and responsive enough to fix things and compensate us with the hassle created by this. We understand that this was not Kisan’s fault but that of Manang Air as they are the ones who accomodated the guy with an early flight which resulted to our tour being cut short (separate review of Manang Air ) Overall we were happy with the services of Good vibe and will use their service again as they also arrange tours to Tibet and BHutan. Thank you Kisan for taking good care of my family in Nepal.

We are very happy to know Kisan at the airport. We contacted him to arrange for a cultural dinner show and immediately he arranged his good assistant Ram, to meet us at our hotel and walked us there. The price quoted was reasonable.
We subsequently used their transport service to bring us to Dhulikhel, a 2 hours journey from our Kathmandu guest house.

From Dhilikhel, we communicated w Kisan to arrange a car to pick us to return to Kathmandu city, enroute Patan. Their driver Osok & Visnu is very experienced and patient. The car is reasonably comfortable too. We visited Dhukuti, Mahaguti & Jawalakhrl with many good buys and a wonderful lunch.

On our return to Kathmandu, Kisan arranged a driver and a good guide Ari who is a qualified guide to bring us to the places we wanted: 1) Swayambhunath Stupa 2) Durba Square 3) Boudhanath 4) Lunch near Boudhanath 5) Sherpa Adventure gear shopping.

We want to thank Kisan & Ram for their excellent service to us and helping us locate a lost passport too.

Its because of people in Good Vibes Adventure that Visit Nepal 2020 will be a roaring success!

I just came back from EBC trek and a short trip to Chitwan, both organised by Good Vibe. It was a really great and unforgettable experience!

Among the main advantages I would mention:
- Great contact with Kisan (organiser) before coming to Nepal and while being in Nepal. He was very responsive and patient with all my questions :)
- Flexibility in organising the trip, where everything was according to my plans/requests.
- Amazing hospitality, from a warm welcome on an airport until the lift back to the airport in the end of the trip.
- Competitive price. I was also given back, with no problems, money for flight tickets from Lukla, which was cancelled (we had to get back from EBC by jeeps which was a great experience on its own!)
- Last, but surely not least, Kisan provided for our EBC trek a great guide Mekh Gurung together with an amazing Porter. Mekh did a really great job, took care of us and explained local culture and mountains greatly.

If you are planning to hike in Nepal, I truly recommend Good Vibe!

I would probably suggest also to:
- Take a guide and a porter if you go for a longer trek. It is much safer and helps the local community.
- If you plan to hike from Lukla, go one way with plane and the other by hiking an additional day and taking a jeep (it is a bit adventurous, but personally I loved it).
- Extend your hike with additional days, especially if you go high. I had some problems with high altitude sickness, and 1-2 additional days would make the trek much more comfortable.
- I went for the trek in the beginning of October, and in some days the weather was not perfect, so probably it makes sense to start a trek a bit later, at least in mid October.

I highly recommend Good Vibe for anyone considering trekking in Nepal.

Kishan, the owner, is very friendly and did a great and honest job throughout the whole booking process. As he said, even though our guide, Samdo, didn't speak as much English as the other young guides, he more than compensated with his caring and responsible attitude and with his knowledge about the mountains, the villages and all the different trails along the way. Also even with my complete lack of understanding of the Nepali language, more than once it seemed clear that the other young guides would come to Samdo (I'm probably misspelling his name - sorry!) for advice.

Other than that, I doubt that you can find a better price than what Good Vibe offers. Extremely competitive while maintaining an excellent quit service.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with the service provided and I would recommend this company to anyone.

From start to finish, Good Vibe Adventure provided excellent service. Kisan's communication prior to the trek was exceptional. He listened to what we wanted to do and planned a trek that fit our needs. We were also told that we could borrow trekking poles, sleeping bags, and warm jackets to wear at base camp, which was very useful.

When we arrived in Kathmandu, Kisan met us at the international airport and accompanied us to the domestic airport so that we could get our flight to Pokhara. After a long flight to Nepal, this was really appreciated!

On the first day of our trek, we met our guide, Subash, who talked us through our trek itinerary. He made us feel at ease and assured us that we could go at our own pace and enjoy the experience. Bistari bistari! Subash was always there to help, whether we had slipped over, got a leech on us, needed to cross a river, our bag felt too heavy, or we felt unwell at high altitudes. He also took some great pictures of us!

Even though we visited in off season and it was quite cloudy, the views we had at ABC were still totally worth it and, as the route was not overly crowded, we had a choice of where to stay at the end of each day.

All in all, this was a fantastic experience and we loved our trek. Thanks so much!
