Trishuli River Rafting  |  2 Days

Named Trishuli, in reference to a famous pilgrimage place Gosaikunda, it comes from the high Himalaya. The Lord Shiva drove his trident into the rocky mountain to create three springs the source of the river and hence its name Trishuli.

Trishuli River is our most popular rafting journey. It offers the experience of fertile valleys, thrilling rapids, relaxing flows, and sandy beaches. Flowing along the Trishuli River is an ideal way to rejuvenate after a trek or for the fun of doing it.

The adventure is fun, safe and exciting for all, regardless of your age and level. The gorges we pass through, providing a pleasant blend of serene waters and exciting rapids. As we drift down the Trishuli River we can enjoy Nepals diverse beauty and landscapes, rural villages, lush flora and sightings of Himalayan wildlife.

Outline Itinerary:

  • 1Day 1: Drive to Charaudi almost 3 hours, the rafting put-in-point then we will meet our raft crew. The leader of the raft will give a short briefing on safety procedure. The whole day we encounter several big and small rapids. Lunch will be served on the beach
  • 2Day 2: After breakfast, we will continue rafting encountering Mugling rapids and pass the Marshyangdi River, which has flowed down, from the Manang valley. Arrive Take-out-point Gaighat, drive to next destination. Drive back to Kathmandu, Royal Chit wan National

Trip Note

We have three different options for a Trishuli River rafting adventure:

  • Rafting itinerary can be changed as per different situation.
  • A single days journey of nearly 20 km on the river.
  • At nearly 60 km and includes three days and two nights along the river. The usual season starts from January to May and from September to December the rafting can be done in any season. The monsoon provides an extra challenge.
  • The wet and wild action is followed by relaxation on the serene beaches for meal breaks and overnight camping under the stars.

The Trishuli River is easily accessed from both Kathmandu and Pokhara.
