Responsible Travel

It is one of the vital elements of any type of touristic activities that is called responsible travel. It has taken the shape of a big business, and the sector is relying on millions of individuals. The large-scale migration of the travellers between the two locations can cause confusion of cultures and environmental pollution. Good Vibe Adventure Company is never deaf to such concerns hence we are starting off our tour and trekking activities in a good and ecological style. We are aware that our targeted destinations such as Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan, have their social values and ways of life and we, as a leader of tour and trekking operator have been sensitizing our guides and guests to follow the local rules.

We are aware of how we are affecting the growth of the local communities because of our tourism activities. We pay attention to the use of the local production all the time, exchange the experience and interact with each other and promote the ethnic traditions. Our group has been participating in the environmental clean-up exercise on the trekking trails. The reason why we trek is because we are conscious of eco system and biodiversity conservation thus we have been taking our staffs through such environmental trainings.

We take our promises into practical policies that will possess the good of all the stakeholders: our guests, our local communities, and the environment.

Our pledge to Local Communities:

We feel that tourism can be an equal economic development power. We employ and train local guides, porters and staff actively and as such, the financial gains of tourism are spread in the community. We work with lodges and homestays which are owned locally, and we motivate our travellers to buy original handicrafts at the hands of craftsmen. Moreover, we promote significant, respectful and educative cultural interactions, which means that our visits contribute to the maintenance of the intangible cultural heritage.

We are committing to being a good steward of the environment:

The Himalayas have delicate ecosystems that cannot be compromised. On all our treks we have a very strict policy of Carry In, Carry Out and Leave No Trace. We reduce single-use plastics by offering their clients reusable options and buying safe drinking water in the neighbourhood. At our office and operation, there is always effort to minimize waste and resources conservation. We too hold and take part in path restoration and clean up events every year, engaging in the restoration of the tracks we walk on.

This proposal aims to empower our travellers as partners:

Responsible travelling is a collective experience. We provide all our guests with extensive pre-trip instructions on cultural etiquette, environmental implications and how to pack in an environmentally sustainable way. We have expert guides who are not just guides but also teachers and have profound knowledge concerning local ecology and local customs during the trip, enabling you to travel wisely.

Our Vision for the Future:

In the case of Good Vibe Adventure, we do not consider responsible travel as a point but rather an identity. We will also ensure that we quantify our social and environmental footprint, endeavour to collaborate with certified sustainable suppliers and apply innovation in our ways in order to achieve a superior standard in the industry. We would like to show you the places, not only as a tourist, but as a responsible member of the family of these unparalleled beauty and culture of these sacred lands, to the generations to come.
