A day tour around Kathmandu city begins after breakfast at the hotel. The trip goes around Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Pashupatinath and Buddhanath and back to hotel. It is a guided city tour to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. They are rich in monuments, arts, craftsmanship and architecture.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is also known as Basantapur / Hanumandhoka Durbar Square, lies at the center of Kathmandu. It is a live museum of ancient architecture and fine Newari arts. Kumari Ghar is one of the most important places of the square site where the ‘Living Goddess’ resides. The square holds the mediaeval palaces. Swoyambhunath Stupa is also known as the Monkey temple, lies on the top of the hill. The golden temple on the hill top is followed by 365 steps which is significant in Buddhism. It is said to have evolved spontaneously when the valley was created out of a primordial lake more than 2000 years ago. It is a good viewpoint of the Kathmandu valley and visitors can have the spectacular sunset views from here. Then drive back to the hotel.
Pashupatinath temple is the pilgrimage destination of Hindu devotees, lies on the bank of Bagmati River. It is a temple of Lord Shiva, considered as the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. A great fair held here in Mahashivaratri, where millions of devotees pay their homage in Pashupatinath.
Boudhanath Stupa is a Buddhist pilgrimage site and the greatest Stupa in the Asia, built in the 17th century. It is Situated 8 km to the east of central Kathmandu, surrounded by the resident of Tibetan Buddhist communities. You can feel the real sense of Buddhism around here.
We are very happy to know Kisan at the airport. We contacted him to arrange for a cultural dinner show and immediately he arranged his good assistant Ram, to meet us at our hotel and walked us there. The price quoted was reasonable. We subsequently used their transport service to bring us to Dhulikhel, a 2 hours journey from our Kathmandu guest house. From Dhilikhel, we communicated w Kisan to arrange a car to pick us to return to Kathmandu city, enroute Patan. Their driver Osok & Visnu is very experienced and patient. The car is reasonably comfortable too. We visited Dhukuti, Mahaguti & Jawalakhrl with many good buys and a wonderful lunch. On our return to Kathmandu, Kisan arranged a driver and a good guide Ari who is a qualified guide to bring us to the places we wanted: 1) Swayambhunath Stupa 2) Durba Square 3) Boudhanath 4) Lunch near Boudhanath 5) Sherpa Adventure gear shopping. We want to thank Kisan & Ram for their excellent service to us and helping us locate a lost passport too. Its because of people in Good Vibes Adventure that Visit Nepal 2020 will be a roaring success! Thank you!
MR Kisan, director of the company, personally welcomed me and pick me up from the airport! Thank you for looking after my partner and me during our trip to Kathmandu. Mr. Kisan and his team did a great job to plan our trip for us and to arrange tours/transportation for us. Everything was smooth from the start to the end of our trip. The driver is always punctual with pick up time and has great knowledge of heritage sites. Would deff recommend anyone that is going to Nepal to contact this agency. Thank you, my friend, Greetings from Malaysia
We met Kisan while we were looking for a ride from Tribhuvan Airport to a hotel in Thamel. Our plan involves going back and forth between Thamel and other areas, so we ended up using a lot of taxis and prices to compare. The service Kisan provided us was the best at the most reasonable price by far.
I visited Kathmandu with my family. Kisan has been an amazing host who guided, planned and executed our trip very professionally. He arranged a luxury car for us and booked Mountain flight to Mount Everest... yes... flight to Everest!!! He gave us an amazing guide Arisoodan, who spoke English and Japanese very well. He is a licensed tour guide and has thorough knowledge on history of Nepal. He accompanied us to all museums, darbar squares and royal palaces. He even took us to the fascinating Chandagiri Cable car. This tour was truly memorable because of these 2 fine gentlemen. 2 Thumbs up . Highly recommended if you are planning your trip as a couple, family, friends or a group
Last week, I'd had only 3 days off and decided to go exploring Nepal and planned roughly for my very short journey to wander around Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur only. That should be enough and fit my 2 days journey (the first day was done by air travel). I've met Good Vibe Adventure by invitation of Taxi Driver from Kathmandu Airport to Thamel. After meeting with Keshab, he planned sightseeing trip for me and also recommended me to go to Nagarkot for the sunset and sunrise view over Himalayan range which was perfectly suit my 2 days period with reasonable price. So I agreed to take Good Vibe Adventure service and I can say it was impressive and wonderful experiences for me. The trip covered all places I should go and see, such as Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, all 3 Durbar Square (Kathmandu, Bhuktapur, Patan). A driver was nice and drove safely, he took a lot of nice photos of me also. A little bit hitch at Nagarkot was my booking for a nice view room at Peaceful Cottage were accidentally duplicated with other guests, but Keshab solved problem quickly and provided me the better one, Hotel View Point with very nice view dulux room. Although I missed the Sunset because the poor visibility, but I really enjoyed the stunning Sunrise over Himalaya in the next morning. I havn't prepared my jumper for the colder night at Nagarkot, but Keshab gave me his sleeping bag just in case, and it did help a lot indeed. Thanks! Also Thanks to his brother for buying me a last meal in Thamel at Gilingche. Thukpa Tibetan Noodle was superb when I had it in the cold weather. His brother also speaks Chinese so fluently. I would recommend Good Vibe Adventure and Keshab, if you are planning to have some fun in Napal.
This company is simply amazing. I was stuck in Nepal for 2 days due to a cancelled flight on my way to meet a friend in Tibet. I had no hotel, no reservations, and no idea of what to do. But, thanks to a random conversation about an ATM with Kisan (the owner of the company) all my troubles were put to rest. He not only booked my hotel room and drove me there he also showed me around Nepal for the next two days. I got to see the monkey temple and other landmarks, I ate at local restaurants where they served amazing food, all with the personal assistance and escort of Kisan. He is educated, friendly, and the most thoughful person I have met abroad on any trip I have ever taken. He was waiting for me in the morning and personally made sure I made it home safe at night. And when I returned to Nepal after Tibet...during my 3 hour layover...he met me for lunch...just to make sure I had fun in Tibet. By far the best travel company I have ever experienced. I would recommend them for anyone looking to experience Nepal!!!
